Financial Assistance
At Charm City Athletics, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to play. We offer three financial assistance options depending on your family's situation. Not qualifying for our external grant partners does not mean you are out of options — our in-house sliding scale is available to any family that needs relief. You can request financial assistance directly during registration

Option 1
Every Kid Sports Pass
Recommended first option for qualifying families
$150
Grant Value
A national grant program that provides up to $150
toward youth sports registration fees. Because our standard registration is $229, we reduce the total to $150 for approved applicants
so the grant covers your registration in full.
Qualifications
- Child enrolled in SNAP, Medicaid, or WIC (at least one active at time of application)
- Child is between 4 and 18 years old
- Program is recreational (Charm City Athletics qualifies)
- Season lasts at least 4 weeks (ours does)
How It Works
- Request financial assistance during registration — we'll follow up with your league info and next steps
- Apply directly at pass.everykidsports.org — takes 5 to 15 minutes
- If approved, funds are loaded to a virtual Chek card
- Pay your registration directly with the card — do not pay out of pocket first
Option 2
RCX Sports NFL FLAG Fund
A second national grant option
$100
Grant Value
A national grant program that provides up to $100
toward registration for qualifying NFL FLAG participants — Charm City Athletics qualifies as an NFL FLAG program.
Qualifications
- Child enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC
- Annual household income under the national median of $83,730
- Proof of income and benefits enrollment required
- Participant must be registered in an NFL FLAG program
How It Works
- Request financial assistance during registration — we'll follow up with next steps
- Apply through RCX Sports at least 3 weeks before our registration period closes
- A parent or legal guardian must complete the application
- If approved, RCX Sports sends funds directly to us and we apply the $100 grant to your balance
Important Notes
- Incomplete applications are automatically declined
- Funding is limited — submitting an application does not guarantee approval
- Approval for one season does not guarantee approval in future seasons
- The grant cannot be used to reimburse previous registrations
- All financial and benefits information is kept strictly confidential and reviewed only by RCX Sports — we do not have access to it

Option 3
The Terri C. Goodman Fund
Our in-house sliding scale program
$60
Minimum Fee
For families who don't qualify for the external grants above, or are still waiting on a decision, Charm City Athletics offers the Terri C. Goodman Fund
— our in-house financial assistance program available on a sliding scale basis, with a minimum registration fee of $60.
Qualifications
- Reserved for families who genuinely need financial relief to participate
- No formal income threshold — use this option if the standard cost creates a real barrier for your family
- Our funds are limited — families who qualify for Option 1 or 2 are encouraged to pursue those first
How It Works
- Request financial assistance during registration
- We'll follow up directly to discuss your situation and determine the right registration amount
- Pay what you are able at or above the $60 minimum
